Welcome back to my 2021 NFL DFS Wild Card DraftKings Picks!
The NFL regular season is now over. We had some players breakout this season and take the next step. How about that 2020 NFL Draft wide receiver rookie class! Justin Jefferson, Chase Claypool, Tee Higgins, CeeDee Lamb and more – get used to hearing those names!
Josh Allen put his name in the conversation of great young quarterbacks in the league. He was able to jump his completion percentage up from 58% to 69%. Now not only does he have a cannon for an arm, but he is accurate too and has Stefon Diggs to throw to!
Speaking of elite quarterbacks, Aaron Rodgers reminded all of us he is still the best quarterback in the league. Rodgers finished his season with 4,299 yards 48 touchdowns and just five interceptions. He is the favorite to win the NFL MVP award, but Patrick Mahomes deserves his votes too.
But it’s time to kickoff the NFL Playoffs with the new Super Wild Card Weekend games. With this new format we have more teams and more games to watch!
Here are the players I like for the Saturday and Sunday slate.

Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers, (6,100)

Big Ben has something to prove. In the one and only game he played against the Cleveland Browns, he only threw for 162 yards and a touchdown. But the future Hall-Of-Fame quarterback was not needed as the Steelers relied on their defense and run game.
Unfortunately, James Conner can’t get things going on the ground for Pittsburgh. Big Ben is going to have to put the ball in the air if the Steelers are to win this game.
DraftKings outlook:
Big Ben is projected for over 18 points by Fantasy Six Pack. Roethlisberger is going up against a not so great Browns defense that ranks 8th worst in weighted defensive DVOA, according to Football Outsiders. Their pass defense also ranks 8th worst.
With Ben getting older, the Steelers Super Bowl window is closing. I am looking for Mike Tomlin to put the ball in his quarterback’s hands.
Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts, ($7,900)

I know I usually go for the bargains, but this is the NFL Playoffs! If you have been reading my articles all season, then you know just before Week 11, I questioned how good Taylor was. Since then, he has scored eight touchdowns!

Although I would love to take all the credit for lighting a fire under the young running back, the truth is he has finally been more involved in the offense.
DraftKings outlook:
Taylor is projected for over 17 points by Fantasy Six Pack. If there is one place the Bills can be beaten, it is on the ground.
The Colts are going to try and limit the number of touches Josh Allen has in this game. That means Taylor is going to see the ball between 25 and 30 times.
Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens, ($5,400)

Brown is a big-play guy. He is going to get behind that Titans secondary whenever he wants. In the last five games, Brown has scored five touchdowns.
Hollywood is not a big yardage guy, but he can make his time on the field count. This could be the most competitive matchup of the weekend. I expect a lot of points in this game on both sides of the ball.
DraftKings outlook:
Brown is projected for 14 points by Fantast Six Pack. He is going up against one of the worst secondaries during the season with the Titans ranking 31st against the wide receiver.
Brown’s price tag will allow you to spend up on players like Jonathan Taylor.
Jared Cook, TE, New Orleans Saints, ($4,600)

The tight end position has been a minefield this season. Jared is always one big play from having a great game. Cook finished the season second on the team in both receptions and targets.
Jared Cook has a great rapport with Drew Brees, and it is going to be on full display in this game. So I’m looking for Cook to catch at least five passes and get in the endzone once
DraftKings outlook:
Cook is projected for almost 10 points by Fantasy Six Pack. He will be taking on the Bears who are ranked 30th against the position.
The Bears have not been able to stop tight ends from scoring on them and this game is not going to be different.
